Panel 1: Shared responsibility for a safer Internet


This session will start with a general analysis of the context reflecting the momentousness of the subject for public agenda and for Cybersecurity Agenda in particular. National data about risks that children are exposed to online including law enforcement perspective will fulfill the session. Inspiring examples of commitments, operational frameworks and practices will be shared.

Issues to be explored:

  • Child Online Protection Initiative – a holistic approach to promoting child online safety.
  • Priorities for actions to protect children’s’ rights to stay free from violence in internet.
  • ICT industry’s experience in building a safer internet for children.
  • Digital competences for a responsible use of Internet.
  • Life online – facts about children behavior online;
  • Promotion of safety online in schools. Student-teacher partnership.
